Financial analysis of companies in target, analysis will include maintaining and updating comparable company trading analysis and transaction analysis
Assume responsibility for monitoring targeted clients in terms of news and announcements
Support on transactions across the banks products. Such support may include maintaining financial models, coordinating due diligence, managing working group lists and timetables
Research on companies and industries and support on client initiatives including generating and developing new ideas to present
Formulate and develop client pitch-books and analysis in addition to supporting other bankers within the team
Build direct cross functional relationships with bankers in product and regional business units
You will be joining a group of ambitious high-performing individuals in the Nordic team covering clients in the region across various sectors and products
The team currently consists of dozen of bankers across all levels that have built a tight-knit group with a very strong team culture supportive of client relationship building very early on through attending meetings and taking on active role in deal teams
You will frequently work with sector and product experts based in London and our other global offices and get exposure to a truly global working environment
Since the Nordic office was established in 2013, the team has grown at a high pace due to involvement in many landmark transactions and will soon move to new modern office in central Stockholm
Beside all the internal training & development resources available, as part of the Nordic team you will get on the job training and support from senior colleagues in order to further develop a broad set of qualitative, quantitative and soft skills
Core skills - Required and Preferred
Strong mathematical and analytical skills as well as proficient level of MS Excel and PowerPoint
Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
Fluency in English is essential and ideally one of the Nordic languages
Educated to degree level (preferably in a numerical discipline such as economics or finance)
