Here in our Camberley office we are recruiting for an Exam Management Specialist to join within the EMEA Global Information Security (GIS) team in our Camberley office. The GIS EMEA Exam Management will be a member of the EMEA Planning, Controls & Governance team and be responsible for managing regulatory exams on behalf of GIS in EMEA, working with the team to respond to Regulatory Exams and Audit requirements, responding to policy update requirements and assisting with driving Risk Management activities across GIS EMEA.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead response to Regulatory Exams and Audit requirements across EMEA
    • Work alongside Exam Management Lead and Country Information Security Officers to draft responses to regulatory exams, assessments or questions
    • Engage with regional regulators and/or attend regional regulatory meetings as required
    • Work with control owners to ensure information provided is timely, accurate and evidence based
  • Support Enterprise and Legal Entity (LoB / FLU) risk management processes
  • Enhance regulatory requirements management regionally:
    • Work with regional Risk teams, EMEA Laws, Rules, Regulations & Guidance (LRRG) team and Country Information Security Officers as directed to enhance and refine processes
    • Support development of technology and automation to increase efficiency
  • Support the delivery of risk, controls and governance processes, including;
    • Risk / concern Intake
    • Engage and coordinate activity with non-GIS risk management teams regionally (wider GT&O, Compliance & Operational Risk and Audit)
  • Support and drive risk mitigation activity identified by Post Incident Review (PIR) processes when required

Core Skills:

  • MSc/BSc in a technology or technology security / risk related subjected desirable
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SANS modules or other relevant qualifications desirable
  • Information security risk modelling and analysis experience
  • Successful record in driving improvements to (information security) risk management practices
  • Experience in Information Security in the finance sector with good knowledge of banking / finance technical operations and future innovation
  • Knowledge of the regional regulatory environment in relation to information security
  • Background and experience in risk management in technology in a financial services organisation - specific focus on information security desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus and drive projects
  • Experience of successfully motivating a small, diverse team co-located throughout the region
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
  • Excellent oral and written briefing skills with the ability to produce and present management progress and status reports
  • Ability to work with and manage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work as an integral part of the EMEA GIS team
  • Excellent time management, detail accuracy and work ethic
