Job Title: Full Stack Developer

LOB: SALMT - Strategic Asset Liability Management Technology

Here in our Dublin office we are looking to recruit for a Full Stack Developer role within our Strategic Asset Liability Management Technology (SALMT) space. The team is responsible for delivering cash management, forecasting & funding solutions for treasury globally.

Our technology stack is Java, Spring, Python, Angular, Kafka and relational DB.  We are looking for problem solvers who are familiar with some or all of these tools. We follow an Agile methodology.  We have a heavy focus on testing. Our business is regulated and our solutions must comply with those regulations.

Your role is to work with and support the team to deliver for our business partners. 

We are looking for people :

  • Who are familiar with Agile and scrum.
  • Who can break down larger problems and detail user stories.
  • Who maintain a focus on testing and acceptance, particularly with respect to our regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Who can communicate effectively.
  • Who want to learn, seeking to understand before insisting to be understood.
  • Who can become part of a team.  Team members support each other to deliver.
  • Who are familiar with all or some of the following technologies,  Java, Spring, Angular, JavaScript, Python, Relational DBs and Kafka.
  • Who are enthusiastic about emerging technology, team dynamics and building/maintaining a positive working environment.
  • Who have experience with Machine learning – although not an essential requirement.
  • Who have experience of capital markets or banking – although not an essential requirement.

    Our teams are usually 7 developers with 1QA and BA resource.  The teams responsibility is:

  • To break down software EPICs into smaller problems and to design solutions for those problems.
  • To ensure all solutions are testable, can be asserted as correct and can be accepted in our releases.
  • To code unit tests to assert our designs and write code to pass our unit tests.
  • To integrate with our development environments and release to production.
  • To innovate and improve our technology and processes.
