Corporate Banking Associates are active members of the country’s integrated client coverage or Corporate Banking teams who assist bankers in the delivery of the full breadth of products and services to clients and prospects.
As an Associate within Global Corporate Banking to be based at our Kuala Lumpur Branch you will:
Support CBK bankers at MD and/or Director to build and enhance client relationship
Engage and manage dialogue with the key working level client contacts
Drive and stay on top of key internal process including KYC/AML, CRC, credit underwriting and loan documentation
Work across product team and prepare solid pitch materials focusing on the core CBK products across loan products, transactional banking(including cash management, trade, liquidity management), Corporate Cards, Leasing and Global Market solutions (including FX, Rates and Commodities)
Support team routine reporting and help prepare reports with management for internal senior reviews
Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company/ client prospecting and industry research,
3-5 years relevant experience within banking sector
Strong quantitative, analytical and credit skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Comfortable with change and adjust to changing demands and requirements
A strong team player and client focused
Demonstrates energy and drive
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
