Position Description

Business Analysis and Change Lead for APAC Finance Technology applications for regulatory reporting in the region. Application portfolio includes internally developed applications as well as integration and configuration of vendor applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • BA lead collaborates with finance, operations and technology stakeholders and manages a team of Business Analysts across multiple projects
  • Govern the intake process for all new change requests from various stakeholders.
  • Resource profiling and hiring (resource requirements, resource identification) and resource allocation for projects.
  • Participates in review sessions to ensure quality control of requirements and in design discussions with development leads to come up with optimal solutions.
  • Interaction with upstream technology teams for data provisioning for regulatory reporting in standardized manner.
  • Provides updates and status reports to senior management.

Key Requirements

  • Experience directly managing teams with employees and contract resources in multiple locations in a matrix organisation and ability to develop and retain talent.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, & conflict management skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Subject matter expertise in automation of financial regulatory reporting including capital and liquidity reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial products in banking, trade finance and global markets.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & Agile methodology.
  • Experience in usage of regulatory reporting applications, relational databases, strong excel skills.
  • Understanding of complex data flows.
