This role will provide generalist support to Junior talents in Global Banking and Markets (GBAM). The activities range from day to day operational HR generalist work to implementation of critical HR initiatives for the junior talents to consulting with managers and senior leaders ensure junior talents are well supported. The successful candidate will be an energetic individual with strong collaborative approach.
Partner with Regional GBAM LoB HR Generalists and work closely with Country HR Generalist to executive core HR processes seamlessly
Partner closely with Regional LoB HR Generalists to ensure manager and leader alignment to accountabilities associated with junior talent development, engagement and wellness
Provide personal development and or coaching to junior talents and their managers during their journey to becoming a VP
Provide coaching to the junior talent council members
Identify potential development opportunities and partner with program manager and L&LD to implement
Run the annual performance management process including goal setting, mid-year and year end process for APAC GCIB junior talent
Work closely with HR specialists including TA, IC&B, Global Mobility, L&LD, HR Shared Services to develop and implement HR solutions for the junior talents that are aligned to business needs
Partner closely with Employee Relations to manage any employee challenges
Co-ordinate information sharing, best practices and location specific updates across HR teams both regional and globally at various forums
Knowledge, Skills and Key Leadership Characteristics:
Minimum 6 years working experience in the HR function with direct client coverage experience preferred
Experience with junior talent population is a plus
Proven ability to build and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders
Good level of consulting skills, questions well to challenge client thinking where required
Strong team player work ethic in client management model with collaborative and results-oriented manner
Ability to translate strategy into specific goals, tactics and deliverables and to juggle multiple priorities
Self-starter with strong analytical approach to problem solving
Good judgment, demonstrated ability to form own view and be creative in developing alternative solutions
High level of maturity to handle confidential and sensitive data
Ability to navigate in highly complex, matrixed organization and operate effectively in an often ambiguous environment
Strong communicator, both written and spoken communications across various forums
Interest in keeping up to date with the latest trends within Junior Talent
