Sr. Systems Analyst

Job Description:

Senior Systems Analyst responsible for defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions. Capable of defining application problems by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes. Validates results by testing programs. Ensures operations by training client personnel and internal staff and providing support. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Provides reference by writing documentation. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques while effectively communicating with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.

Required Job Skills:

•       5-7+ years of system analyst experience

•       Technical expertise regarding troubleshooting, hardware/software requirements

•       Strong knowledge of and experience with hard/ware software architecture

•       Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

•       Understanding of technology change and support processes

•       Strong organizational skills

•       Strong problem solving skills

•       Quality focus

•       Strong consulting skills

•       Process improvement

•       Networking knowledge

•       Power user of MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint

•       Excellent written and verbal communications skills

•       Proficient in process mapping

•       Project management experience a plus

Enterprise position overview: Understands and works across teams on all downstream provisioning requirements for the domain. Assists with an inventory of all applications in the data flow for the domain. Supports data domain adherence to EDM Standards, including implementation and monitoring of all required transport controls and maintenance of all required metadata. Assists in remediation of data incidents.
