Feature Lead, Risk Technology

Job Description:

Responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team as they deliver technology solutions. Develops solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices. Ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. They have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and has developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Designs and develops and is accountable for feature delivery. Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality. Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt. Responsible for compliance and security items and audit support at the team level. Acts as a liaison for production activities/issues. Works with Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria. Guides the team on work breakdown and execution. Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team. Guides team members with skills and practices (planning & estimation, peer reviews and other engineering practices). Identifies skill and role gaps, and works with Technology Manager to address them. Works with Technology Manager in creating resource contingency plans where required. Individual contributor.

This role will serve as work stream-level change lead for a sub-component of a larger program Trade Surveillances.  Depending on the complexity of the work stream, role may be assigned to support more than one work stream or function.  The employee will be partnered with a line-of-business leader or other technology leaders depending on the work stream that has been assigned to. Trade Surveillance heavily utilize Data warehouse application built on Informatica, Oracle Exadata, UNIX shell scripts and AutoSys, requires highly skilled Senior Informatica developer for to strategize, design and develop ETL process flow to support the business functions. The role also requires the candidate to lead and support the migration and upgrades of Informatica to stay current with Enterprise Architecture standard.  The candidate should have solid experience in Informatica ETL development for a very large data warehouse environment.  Good understanding of Informatica server components and impact analysis skill on those components are essential.  Integration knowledge to Oracle/Other RDBMS and AutoSys is very essential. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver that actively engages with end users and offers solutions that improve and streamline processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• ETL, design, development, and implementation. Data management, maintenance and integrity.
• Agile Development utilizing SCRUM and SDLC. Enjoy working on a diverse set of projects and working part of a fast paced team.
• Coordinate with various developers, scrum masters and analyst to prepare designs for new applications and documents all processes to ensure effective evaluation of all applications in JIRA. Ticket driven work environment with strict standards in JIRA.
• Analyze and ensure efficient transition of all technical design documents and develop various ETL/SQL packages to provide support to all application developers.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle/PL SQL, ETL/Informatica
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to develop Informatica repository queries
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting
• Hands on experience on Informatica Upgrade/Migration experience
• Experience in data quality approaches and techniques
• Excellent written and communication skills and ability to clearly indicate data integration solution designs and implementations
• Agile experience
• Financial Services / Banking experience
• Build & Release orchestration tools
• Experience in working with larger projects involving multiple groups including near shore  and offshore teams
• Performance Tuning experience
• Perform research on all data processing functions and participate in design discussions related to the maintenance and enhancement of existing and newly created applications
