Position Description

The Institutional Equity Client Services Team support Cash Equity Business for Institutional Clients primarily located in the Asia Pacific Region & provides post execution support for these clients to ensure smooth settlement for global markets. This role requires candidates to interact closely with clients, internal operations teams & front office to address settlement issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post execution support for global markets from trade settlement, fail management and all other ad hoc query  for Institutional Agency clients
  • Follow up on trade exceptions and resolve outstanding settlement items
  • Coordinate with internal teams & clients to ensure all queries and issues are resolved.
  • Perform reconciliation of client accounts
  • Work closely with Operations Client Relationship Manager to identify client issues and analyze client settlement metrics.

Key Requirements

  • At least 2 year’s industry experience gained while working in a brokerage firm or investment bank is preferable but not essential for this position
  • The successful candidate will ideally have settlements experience in cash equity or fixed income.
  • Candidates must be analytical in nature, possesses high risk awareness and strong problem solving and communication skills, creative, show initiative and have a mature approach to business
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organization skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Work under pressure
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Requires Public holiday coverage and extended working hours may be required
