Analyst/Associate, Agency MBS Sales

Job Description:

Seeking a candidate to join Fixed Income Structured Products Sales group focusing on agency mortgage sales in New York. This candidate should have the ability to develop and maintain new relationships [with clients], understand [basics of] fixed income/financial markets, and possess an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments. In addition, this position will require strong collaboration with our trading, syndicate, banking and operations groups to facilitate customer requests, and market the various products. Position demands basic product knowledge, outstanding organizational skills and have ability to connect with a diverse range of people.

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Accounting or STEM
• 1+ years of sales experience in capital markets
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 preferred
• Quantitative and analytic skills
• Ability to synthesize and analyze large data sets
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with KDB
