Position Description

The role involves managing New Accounts Department in Chennai branch. It is a critical role to manage client delivery, regulatory requirements and collaborate with key business partners.

The functions managed have a high monetary exposure and risk involving the processing of high value transactions and the candidate must have good operational and regulatory knowledge

Responsibilities:
 

  • Efficiently process Payment transactions

  • Ensure compliance with reporting / Processing deadlines

  • Responsible for effectively Processing transactions in the area of Tax & INR payments

  • Preparation of Internal and Customer related MIS as per the requirement.

  • Contributing towards department efforts in the areas of constant process improvement, improving productivity etc.

Qualifications

Graduate with minimum 2-3 years experience OR MBA with 1-2 years’ experience in Banking Operations


Skills

  • Good Customer Service and Inter-personal skills.

  • Good computing and accounting skills.

  • Quality conscious and having flair for constant process improvement.

  • Ability to manage volumes with accuracy.

  • Ability to cope with pressure during rush hours.

  • Basic knowledge of Banking

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team and within stiff time deadlines

  • Regular Interaction with internal and external clients for job related activities.

  • Preparation of Internal and Customer related MIS as per the requirement.

  • Contributing towards department efforts in the areas of constant process improvement, improving productivity etc
