Job Description:

Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Familiar with development and testing practices of the bank. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); Analyzes test reports, identifies any test issues/errors; Triages the underlying cause. Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes. Individual contributor.

Overview:

We are the Fulfillment & Service, AML & Tax Technology group providing technology support to three primary critical banking functions: Treasury Fulfilment, Servicing & Operations, Global Payment Operations, and GBAM AML & Tax. The group provides support for various technologies used in the wholesale contact centers inclusive of telephony integration, workflow solutions, and documentation processes. Additionally, the group has various connections to efforts with CashPro and Wholesale Credit technology teams.

We are looking for an experienced Siebel Development lead for our Servicing Platform. This role entails responsibility to develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software application built on Siebel platform that support business units or supporting functions. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using Siebel technology. This role is expected to provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work to resolve client issues. Work directly and effectively with client development/testing/implementation team. Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity.

  • Financial Service background or experience preferred

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years, including at least 2 Full Life Cycle implementation experience on Siebel Call Centers and support experience
  • Understanding of Siebel Architecture & Siebel Data Model
  • Analyze business requirements and develop detailed functional requirements, high level and low level design
  • Strong understanding of systems and business processes.
  • Thorough functional knowledge of the Siebel platform; well-suited for applying technical specifications to business requirements
  • Experience with using Siebel Tools and Working knowledge of key areas of Siebel – Open UI, Configuration, e-Scripting, Workflow, Assignment Manager, Application Administration, Siebel Communication Server, EBC, VBC, Business Services and Web Services
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and innovative thinker
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field is required
  • Experience with Siebel 8.1 (IP2015 or above) experience is preferred.
  • Siebel Consultant Certification preferred.
