Process Overview*

Specialty Lending Insurance Team monitors the Collaterals of the Line of Credits and ensure timely renewal of the Insurance Policies on Hazard, Earthquake, etc,. Team verifies the loan in Loan IQ and reviews the Insurance Policies saved in EDR, prepares the renewal reminder letters which are sent to Insurance Agents via Right Fax. The team ensures that the End to End Insurance renewal is processed and update the System of Record before Policy expiration, to avoid any catastrophic financial risk. The team is also involved in UCC continuations, Determinations Orders and other Insurances renewals where we send the renewal reminder letters.

Responsibilities*

  • Process request in timely manner
  • Queue monitoring to ensure that the queue SLA are met
  • Identification and fixing the risk related issue
  • Process improvement methodology to be followed to identify the gaps in the process and fixing it through projects
  • Manage E2E activities performed in the Insurance Process
  • Update the System of Record
  • Correspondence with Insurance Agents and Frontline Unit

Requirements*

  • Education*
    • B.Com 
  • Certifications If Any
    • NA
  • Experience Range*
    • 3-5 years

  • Foundational skills*
    • Understanding of Commercial Loan Operations, Loan products and collaterals
    • Should have an understanding loan life cycle
    • Should have understanding Collateral Insurance Requirements
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Desired skills*
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player; flexible
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
