Audit Supervisor - Operational Risk

*** Preferred location is Charlotte, NC but open to Plano, TX or Providence, RI depending on candidates overall experiences/qualifications***

Specific Description:

The candidate for this role will lead and execute audits focusing on the Technology Risk.  The candidate for this role should have a controls testing, audit or risk management background in general technology controls, information security, and cyber risk.   Additionally, the candidate should have awareness of Operational Risk Management Frameworks including programs like the Risk Control Self-Assessment, Internal and External Loss Event Data, Scenario Analysis and Operational Risk Capital.  The auditor in this role will evaluate processes in place to adhere with regulation including Basel AMA and Heightened Standards.

Required Skills:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 + years of technology risk, or technology auditing experience with experience in information security and cyber security programs. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Sound organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully communicate to influence management and lead change in both strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Self-Starter, desire to learn able to teach others, high energy, positive attitude, exhibits flexibility
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze large amounts of data and turn it into usable information
  • Ability to work in a very detailed manner as well as to look broadly across a population and develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns
  • Ability to juggle multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction, as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to converse with management on all levels

Desired Skills:

  • Risk management, audit, or control testing of technology control frameworks
  • Advanced degree
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong preference to having Audit experience
