EMEA Equities Sales and Trading - Associate

Job Description:

Responsible for selling Bank of America Merrill Lynch leading products.Involves processing large amounts of information on companies and markets into an actionable recommendation which the client can trade. To provide client facing solutions on both asset and liability side. To manage daily risks and tasks within the team. Providing clients with optimal solutions to manage market exposure and trade profitability. Also to work closely with other departments including distribution and research.

  • Develop client relationship to assist with day to day account coverage
  • Compiling product presentation material
  • Be responsible for assisting the senior sales persons in logistics, administration and client service
  • Help with client ad hoc requests

Marketing/communicating global ideas across floor/firm

  • Execute client order
  • Pricing/Quoting for clients
  • Manage risk for client requests
  • Actively work with sales to make sure the franchise has access to the right price and information for the client
  • Cover trading books when required
  • Prepare presentations and back up support for corporate clients presentation and internal reports
  • Assisting in the pricing and hedging of new transactions
  • Required to identify and implement controlled streamlining of operational processes
  • Developing a close working relationship with the rest of the trading floor, Treasury and Finance

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS office (especially in Power Point and Excel)
  • Good decision making skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
