Wholesale Credit is an integrated underwriting, monitoring and product management division servicing wholesale businesses in Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB), Global Markets and Global Wealth & Investment Management. It interfaces with an aligned, fulfillment and servicing function, supported by an independent risk management approval organization. With employees located in nearly 300 cities around the world, the business is focused on streamlining the delivery of credit to improve client experience and enhance productivity.
Within Wholesale Credit the Analytics & Information Strategy (AIS) organization is responsible for delivering high-quality global banking data for enterprise and regulatory reporting uses. To do this, the team executes a comprehensive data management program that ensures data are complete, accurate, timely, and fit for intended uses.
The Data Quality Measurement and Reporting Team is the part of Wholesale Credit Analytics and Information Strategy (AIS) responsible for controlling the quality of the Global Banking data. To do this we use a range of data movement/ETL, testing, and reporting/dashboard tools to test, measure, quantify, and report on exceptions and the overall quality of the data.
Job description
The candidate will be responsible for understanding business rules and standards, and translating those needs into specific rules, tests, and reports that can be applied to data sets, the output from which reflects the degree to which the data conform to these business standards. The role will require the development of deep understanding of information repositories and the business context of the information they contain as well as the technical skills to build repeatable, robust processes to test these information sources.

Required Skills:

Excellent organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
Able to engage and leverage teams and business partners to identify and analyze business rules and requirements
Experience translating business rules into highly structured logic/rules
Proficient in data management to include strong data analytical capability
SQL, SAS, or related data query / extraction languages
2-4 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in related disciple
Desired Skills:
Ability to create management level reporting using aggregated bank data
Knowledge of Wholesale Credit / Risk systems such as CRP, LIQ, Credit Center
Experience with underwriting, credit products, relationship management, capital management, or banking finance
Experience with data management / ETL Tools such as Trifacta or Alteryx
Experience working in an agile environment, project management, and/or with a highly cross functional team
