Position Description

Background: The Asia Oracle System DBA team supports multiple lines of businesses and applications globally.  The job involves being first level support for issues and incidents that occur.  It also involves working on database builds and upgrades and setting up to bank standards. 

Key Responsibilities

  • First line of support for incidents and issues
  • Database Builds to standards on Linux
  • Database upgrades
  • Fixing security violations
  • Working seamlessly with Application DBA partners
  • Plan and implement changes following the change management process
  • Analyse and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Performance monitoring

Key Requirements

  • 2 – 3 years of experience maintaining mission critical oracle databases
  • Working knowledge of Oracle 12c – 19c
  • Certification desirable
  • Rman
  • Dataguard
  • Autosys, GoldenGate, Oracle RAC a plus
  • Shelll scripting
  • PL SQL scripting
  • Good problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Any other scripting language a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work with a large global team in various time zones
