Collections & Recovery Team Manager II

Newark, Delaware

Job Description:

 Responsible for day-to-day managing of approximately 16-25 collectors in a call center environment.  Develop and monitor progress of associates through ongoing training and coaching so associates can ultimately exceed the performance expectations of the department. Monitor volumes and staffing levels to ensure service levels are met.  The manager will be accountable for associate satisfaction, successful management of productivity and efficiency levels as outlined for the department. The manager is also accountable for participating in bank-wide initiatives and projects as assigned.  Be a champion for the Bank of America Leadership Model and Spirit. Initially you will be required to work from home and/or remotely in this role and will require the following:

·         Internet Service Provider at home (no public WiFi or Internet)

·         Sufficient room to set up a laptop, monitor, keyboard and mouse

·         Comfortable space to work for a full shift

·         Quiet, private and SECURE space in which to work

Required Skills

- 1+ years of experience in Collections and Recovery Services, specifically Internal Recovery

- 1+ years of experience in a management/leadership role, specifically in a call center environment

- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited 4 year university

- Proven experience and ability to successfully achieve department goals

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Results driven and metric focused

- Ability to motivate and drive results

Desired Skills

-Prior leadership experience

- In depth understanding of Collections and Recovery Scoreboards and performance management

- Reporting Experience

- Call Center experience

- Deposit product and system experience

- College graduate
