Job Description:


  • Leading coverage of corporates, trade houses, funds for metals (base, precious, bulks) in EMEA
  • Working as part of EMEA sales team and a global metals team – working as part of a close knit team, coordinating with and backing-up colleagues
  • Leading and growing the metals franchise in the region
  • Providing market commentary to clients and other market intel which requires deep understanding of functioning of metals markets and fundamentals
  • Seamless execution which requires a strong understanding of mechanics of the metals markets and all the nuances associated with this market
  • Develop strong relationship and dialogue with the trading desk to ensure risk is being protected and offset appropriately
  • Cross sell with banking and other market groups
  • Responsible for managing and further developing relationships with key clients
  • Responsible for overseeing clients transactions for allocated client base
  • Responsible for marketing our products to all internal clients, trading, derivatives, sales, banking
  • Responsible for mentoring younger salespeople
  • Coordinate between Research and Corporates for our global conferences
  • Regularly participate in morning meetings
  • Publication of money making ideas, thematic investment ideas to clients by emails


Educated to degree level  (or equivalent experience)


  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving  skills are required
  • Previous experience within EMEA Metals Sales
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
  • Marketing, sales and presentation skills
  • Confident with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commercial ability to sell research
