Job Description:

The Email Campaign Consultant is responsible for executing Servicing and service email campaigns within Bank of America's Email Channel. We seek an individual who can manage the execution of campaigns and project work as well as think strategically in a highly regulated, political, and visible channel. This candidate should be able to work independently and in large group settings, as well as handle multiple assignments concurrently. This candidate will also be responsible for setup, testing and executing email campaigns.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Will not have direct reports but will lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations

  • Flawless execution of email campaigns supporting numerous enterprise-wide products

  • Lead channel proofing process

  • Campaign set up and execution within Salesforce Servicing Cloud

  • Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions

  • Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies

  • Modify/Update HTML assets

  • Identify/Fix HTML rendering issues identified during testing

  • Implement any necessary Amp Script needed for dynamic personalization

  • Create URL development and execution

  • Ability to build BRDs with multi-email type execution

  • Manage/update media queries that derive mobile responsive design

  • Manage/update CSS code that drives layout and rendering

  • May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives

  • May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application

  • Partner with Channel, Production Support, Program Managers, Lines of Business as well as Leadership Team

  • Lead special projects that will enhance channel capabilities and sales opportunities (e.g. testing, mobile optimization, speed to market, capacity, reporting, procedural, documentation, etc.)

  • Work closely with the creative agency and email vendor to align campaigns and projects and to ensure best practices are followed

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience of email marketing experience preferred, but other relevant digital Servicing experience will be considered as well

  • Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants

  • Knowledge and understanding of the email industry

  • Project and relationship management experience

  • Experience with CRM: knowledge of and project management

  • Experience with ExactTarget (aka. Salesforce Servicing Cloud)

  • Experience optimizing within eCommerce – specifically Email Servicing

  • Experienced in working with DreamWeaver, Photoshop and/or other HTML design software

  • This candidate should be able to work well independently and in large group settings, as well as handle multiple assignments simultaneously

  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written skills

  • Considered by others as a self-starter who shows initiative and drives for results

  • Track record of influencing others through the use of objective data-based analysis

  • Proven ability to assess challenges and act decisively to identify solutions quickly and effectively

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

  • Proficient in MS Office Products – especially Excel and PowerPoint
