Software Engineer II - Technical Analyst, Enterprise Finance Technology

Job Description:

Position Summary

This person will serve as a Technology Analyst with an oversight on projects to ensure technical deliverables meet Enterprise Application SDLC Quality standards. This position also require  person to play roles as Scrum master for mid-size to large initiatives thereby ensuring all Applications are on boarded to SDM Lean Agile and help establish the technical vision for the future scale of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Work with Application managers and other technology partners to ensure all Application development deliverables meets Enterprise Control governance standard and policies.

• Liaison with business and development teams to ensure all the prerequisites for PTP/PTB/PTS are met and complete well before Project go lives dates.

• Supports Development and implementation of technology standards, methodologies and best practices for delivery of quality services.

• Creates/Updates Coding, Code review and unit testing guideline documents in timely manner.

• Coordinate with development, Testing COE and business partners on the End to End test plan and support.

• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals

• Deal with complex information, processes and relationships to derive a simple solution

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

• Ability to translate business requirements to the functional capabilities of the application.

• Knowledge of databases, PL/SQL, Java, Python & J2EE languages.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies AI/ML will be big plus.

• Experience with large enterprise development and release procedures is preferred

• Experience in the financial services or similar industry is preferred

• Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred

• Experience with JIRA/Rally or other agile tools is preferred

• Microsoft Office, Project, Visio experience is required

• Self-directed and ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Good analytic skills, flexibility and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies and tools.

• Good working knowledge of the software development life cycle

• Effectively work as part of a globally blended team of resources (both Associates and vendors).
