The Fraud Organization is looking for an analyst to join our GBAM Pre-Paid Fraud Strategies team. In this role, you will be expected to analyze significant quantities of data for the commercial pre-paid product to identify and mitigate fraud.  Development of new fraud strategies using statistical and analytical techniques. Goal will be to identify and mitigate new and emerging fraud threats.  Identifying new sources of data (internal or vendor-provided) that can enrich our existing fraud detection processes; be added to our decision systems, and allow for new detection strategies to be developed. Will require close coordination with multiple partners in Fraud Technology, GIS, consumer, Visa and GTS. Development of both ad-hoc and more standardized reporting to improve rule performance.  

  • Responsible for performing complex analysis for multiple products with the goal of minimizing fraud related risk and operating losses and/or future fraud exposure
  • Extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data
  • Create new reporting to provide rule performance metrics
  • Work with GIS and product to develop automated re-issue process
  • Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors

Required Skills

  • Knowledge in SQL and SAS
  • Fraud Knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft tools including Excel
