Position Description

Background: GMOT Collateral Technology Team in Singapore is responsible for delivering global projects for Collateral Operations teams across various locations in addition to managing the APAC business relationship. The team participates in global projects delivery and is directly responsible for ensuring regional specific requirements are taken care. The team liaises with a number of technology teams both within and outside of the collateral tech teams across US, UK and India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance and support a range of critical .NET applications and services
  • Design and build intuitive ASP.NET MVC web user interfaces
  • Liaise with both technical and business colleagues located both locally and at international offices in London, New York and Chicago.
  • Work closely with other developers in the wider development team (spread between London, New York, Chicago, Singapore and India)
  • Guide and assist the wider development team in leveraging best practices and delivering reusable strategic components

Key Requirements

  • Up to 3~5 years’ work experience, preferably in .Net web applications
  • Good system knowledge of
    • .Net v4.5+ C#
    • ASP.NET MVC 5+, WCF and Windows Services
    • JavaScript - jQuery, Angular
    • Entity Framework 6+
    • SQL Server 2014+
    • SSRS/SSIS
    • Dev Ops
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID design principles
  • Enterprise integration experience and SOA technical architecture and design experience.
  • Strong problem solving skills. Initiative, diligence and willingness to learn.
  • An intuitive problem solving ability which leads to solution alternatives that reflect the analyst’s diverse foundation of knowledge, skills and experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good team player who can work well in matrix management environments. Excellent people skills and the ability to partner and integrate with a geographically disparate leadership team.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a time pressured environment, while prioritizing properly with minimal management oversight.
