The Bank of America AI Solutions & Erica team is seeking a Digital Channel Consultant to help advance the development of Erica, our virtual financial agent and centralized intelligence framework.  The position will focus on capabilities strategy and feature development working with technology partners in an agile environment.  The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to support workstream alignment with LOB partners across digital banking and the organization more broadly to ensure Erica is being effectively socialized and supported as well as to identify and frame strategic opportunities for future state Erica integration.

The ideal candidate will be a forward thinking leader with a proven track record of successfully bringing next generation products, services and technologies to market. The role requires an individual with a strong combination of strategic thinking, data analysis, detailed tactical planning and project management expertise.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of banking products and services investing knowledge a plus, emerging technologies AI, large scale data frameworks, machine learning, neural networks a plus and be proactive in their approach, with an ability to own and manage multiple priorities simultaneously; familiarity with agile development methodology also a big plus.

They must be able to absorb and build upon the vision of executive leadership; effectively create a story to articulate complex subject matter in a clear concise manner easily comprehended by key stakeholders and executive leadership across the organization, and demonstrate ability to execute on that vision.

As a Digital Channel Consultant, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to serve as a primary conduit for and between the Digital business, product, marketing, operations, technology, internal counsel/control, and line of business partners, and will have accountability for establishing/maintaining strong relationships and building consensus with peers and partners across the organization.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Own the agile development of features supporting continuing evolution of our virtual agent including, requirement/story development, grooming, build, testing and acceptance, Q/A and reporting
  • Working closely with UX and other cross functional partners to document use cases, feature stories and wireframes
  • Coordinate and lead cross-line-of-business partner alignment to drive initiative strategy, planning, stakeholder approvals  and execution pathing
  • Establish and maintain clear execution routines for initiative continuity and regular management briefing/status reporting
  • Collaborate with executive management to shape the Bank of America Digital strategic AI roadmap

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years proven leadership in a developing products and/or leading projects with financial services organizations
  • Proven ability to bring new products/services to market
  • Strong knowledge of consumer banking and financial services, accounts and product types
  • Exceptional facility with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication verbal, written, presentation and networking skills; able to drive consensus
  • Strong interest and knowledge of emerging technology trends and applications
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, customer-driven environment
  • BS or BA required

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of internal platforms across BAC, ML a plus transactional, workflow management, CRM/client support, data
