Job Description and Responsibilities:

To provide regional project support across the APAC region for legal entity eliminations.  To include:

  • Assuming lead role in coordination for legal entity eliminations, which includes:
    • Forming a working group of SMEs and acting as project manager of this working group
    • Leading the prescribed internal approval process for elimination of an entity to ensure appropriate due diligence is completed prior to the entity’s elimination
    • Collaborating with the working group to establish specific plans, timing, ensuring completion of all tasks, escalation of issues and clarity around elimination steps
    • Project managing the elimination process from start to finish and driving the process through to conclusion as quickly as possible
    • Coordinating and hosting working group meetings
    • Being the point person for the entity’s elimination, responding to questions as necessary
  • Providing reporting and analysis on APAC eliminations and other legal entity governance matters
  • Preparing materials for, attending and hosting regular meetings to discuss legal entity governance matters, including legal entity board and committee meetings
  • Providing training and support for partners involved in legal entity governance support
  • Regular reviews and management of legal entity governance data
  • Contributing to control and governance enhancements
  • Participating in legal entity simplification work across the Global Subsidiary Governance & Optimisation team
  • Participating in other governance projects, as required, within the Global Subsidiary Governance & Optimisation team
  • Providing general support for the APAC Office of the Corporate Secretary team, including:
    • Updating and responding to requests for legal entity information related to eliminations and other governance matters
    • Supporting delivery of board materials to directors
