Position Description

Support cash settlements of derivatives trades with global clients, majority based in Asia. Main point of contact with clients for settlement related queries. Products covered include variance swaps, warrants, equity linked structured notes, equity options, CDS, IRS, FX, FX Options, Asset Swap, Currencies Swap, NDF, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients on trade settlement issues including pre-settlement confirmations and exchanging of SSI
  • Resolution of trade discrepancies with trade control, clients and front office
  • Ensure accurate, timely and complete daily settlement of trades
  • Resolution of settlement breaks
  • Drive process improvement initiatives with internal stakeholders within/across regions
  • Participate in internal controls, audit and regulatory related tasks/projects
  • Month-end balance sheet accounts review
  • Participate in technology enhancement initiatives & testing, where applicable
  • Management reporting 

Key Requirements

  • Fast learner, proactive in nature and has excellent to detail
  • Able to communicate effectively with sensitive clients, trade support, front office and other teams globally
  • Product knowledge of derivatives and ISDA definitions preferred
  • Independent and motivated, team player, ability to deal with wide range of demands under pressure
