Here in our Chester office we are looking to recruit for Equity Master Confirmation Agreements Language Negotiator within Equity Documentation Team. Partnering with Sales, Trading and Legal, you will be responsible for mitigating operational risk by identifying, negotiating then executing Master Confirmation Agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Draft Master Confirmation Agreements and side letters using pre-agreed templates
  • Liaise with Legal team to create Bespoke agreement per business need
  • Contact clients by telephone and email to request that they review and execute MCA drafts in a timely manner
  • Review client feedback on legal provisions and negotiate to reach a satisfactory outcome for all parties with the help of Trading, Sales and Legal partners
  • Proactively identify high volume and priority clients that can execute trade confirmations via an electronic platform
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail when updating client rules

Core skills

  • Working knowledge of 2002 ISDA Equity Derivative Definitions and 2006 ISDA Definitions would be ideal
  • Knowledge of Derivatives or Fixed income products preferable
  • Ability to apply learned knowledge into resolving complex queries
  • Ability to work independently and to use your own initiative to identify and resolve issues
  • Accept ownership of issues and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner
  • Share any learning with teammates across the globe
  • Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy levels
  • Proactive with a positive attitude
  • Keen to learn and able to adapt to evolving business needs and new regulations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
