Job Description: Serve as key member of Bank of America interest rate strategy team. Conduct macroeconomic, market, and interest rate analysis to formulate views and trades in the rates market. Create stand-out thematic research with a focus on trade idea generation and monetizable ideas across US Rates. Produce weekly research pieces on macro and micro views on wide range of factors affecting interest rates including monetary policy, fiscal policy and global macro-economic developments. Travel and meet clients, recommend trade ideas to internal and external clients (money managers, pension funds, central banks, and hedge funds) to help take advantage of macroeconomic factors affecting interest rates. Work with the sales force in maintaining relationships with clients by updating with latest market developments, conference calls and one-on-one meetings. Use applied statistics to help generate and inform views.
