Position Description

We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail. This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization and so, candidates must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a Trader Assistant role mostly requiring trades capture into various systems on behalf of traders.
The candidate must demonstrate maturity, sense of urgency and have a good understanding in the derivatives sales and trading flows.

Key Responsibilities

  • TIMELY and ACCURATE trades booking into risk system on behalf of traders
  • Prepare various reports (Fixing / Cash-flow / Risk, etc.) for the trading desk
  • Initiate broker/banks on-boarding in internal system
  • End of Day flash PnL reporting
  • Ad hoc request/query from their respective trading desk
  • Proactively assisting Trading to timely track and monitor KYC timeline and participate in related liaison with internal and external counterparts
  • Part of Global Markets Operations Middle Office team, the Trader Assistant should have strong communication skills and be the liaison between trading and Middle Office teams

Key Requirements

  • Degree qualification is essential
  • Bloomberg/Reuters/Markitwire knowledge/experience is essential
  • Fluent in English

Essential Experience/Technical Knowledge(preferable):

  • Proficiency in MS Product Suite i.e. Excel, Word etc
  • VBA & SQL programming skills optional
