Lead Operations Representative

The Lead Operations Representative responsibilities include basic level reporting, customer service support, reviewing and processing transactions for item processing, and performing other support operations functions as required. The Lead Operations Representative ensures quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers/clients.

The Lead Operations Representative will be required to work   statutory holiday and provide coverage as required to meet business needs


  • Monitor and review AS400 banknote invoices following standard procedures
  • Preparing daily commercial invoices
  • Complete Canada Border Services Agency forms
  • Prepare daily LCTR reporting
  • Perform Rate distribution, settlement and wire payment functions
  • Ensure assigned online support cases are completed
  • Liaise with banknote advisory desk and operations
  • Ensure quality service and effective and efficient operations support for internal business partners and external customers
  • Prioritize daily tasks to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Identify and implement process improvements


  • One to three years of experience in payments processing with financial institutions an asset
  • Commitment to teamwork
  • Solid computer skills including Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve daily deliverables
  • One to two years banking experience an asset
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of processes and procedures 
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. It may be necessary to work on weekends or statutory holidays to meet the needs of the business unit
