Sr. Treasury Product Manager

Job Description:

Act as Vendor Capability SME

  • Know the current payment services vendors available in industry
  • Know their current and under development capabilities
  • Assess Opportunities and develop business cases for use of services

Incorporate Vendor Capabilities Into Payment Strategy and Road Map

  • Work with Strategy team to incorporate Vendor services into global strategy
  • Work with Platform Management team and Tech to incorporate vendor solution into technology road map
  • Create and own business cases for securing funding

Act as Product lead for Vendor Selection, Procurement, and Contracts

Act as Product lead for Vendor Projects and Integration

  • Act as lead stakeholder during tactical project management phase
  • Work with Technology and Vendor for estimates, scheduling, and change control governance

Act as Product Manager/Lead for underlying services to clients

  • Continuously enhance and improve product based on internal stackholder feedback

New Product Development:

  • Engage with regional and global partners to develop appropriate expansion strategies and related business cases.
  • Collaborate with product and business development partners in the definition of terms for programs / deals with third-party product and technology providers.


  • Must have at least 3-5 years treasury management / payment industry
  • Strong risk and compliance management experience
  • Experience interacting with treasury management clients in either a sales, servicing, or implementation role
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Must be able to present to clients, BofAML executives, and business partners, demonstrating excellent verbal  and written communication skills
  • Strong interest / willingness to keep current with trends in the payments business
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and an excellent understanding of technology within a business context
  • Must have ability to work in a fast paced, cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • BA/BS or higher


  • Experience selling, managing, or implementing payment products
  • Experience in product development – new products and enhancement of existing products
