Summary of Position

Leads the Capital Markets sales specialist organization supporting Financial Advisors on all investment solutions across the Investment Solutions Group (ISG) Capital  Markets Group.  The team delivers capital markets expertise and innovate solutions across the full spectrum of Capital Markets products including  Equity, Fixed Income, Market-Linked Investments, Listed and OTC Derivatives

Job Description

  • Drives strategy for  the distribution of Capital Markets products, solutions, and capabilities to Wealth Management clients
  • Partners with Capital Markets product team  on overall business strategy and executing product calendar
  • Owns relationships with senior  leaders across wealth management and drive adoption of products and solutions
  • Manages a team of both geographically dispersed field- based sales specialists and internal sales desk support
  • Coaches and motivates team while driving accountability for sales activity tracking and reporting
  • Drives growth and adoption in markets as sales leader by delivering more targeted initiatives and promoting sales excellence and collaboration
  • Supports Advisor efforts to grow their client households by engaging them on their acquisition strategy; offering advice on effective strategies, best practices and connecting them with partners where appropriate

Role Qualifications

  • 10+ years proven experience
  • Proven experience in Capital Markets businesses (FICC, Equities)
  • Experienced leadership in sales organization with geographically dispersed teams
  • Must be organized and have the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills to deliver insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize strategic plans into actionable results
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation experience is desired
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task

  • Strong presentation skills: ability to present key messages, recommendations and information in a clear, concise and insightful way
  • Strong relationship-building skills: ability to effectively lead across the organization, build effective relationships and influence at all levels to achieve change and implement goals
  • Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurial
  • Deep understanding of the composition and structure of the BAC franchise and key priorities and able to navigate the organization
