Job Description

The Technical Change Management Risk and Controls Lead will be a key member of the Command Center Organization.  This position will work with all Lines of Businesses, CTO/CIO groups and process teams to deliver Best in Class service levels.

This position requires an individual that is innovative with a great deal of initiative and a collaborative, yet proactive approach. The role will assist in the execution of internal control discipline and operational excellence ensuring our processes and tools drive adherence to enterprise-wide Policy and Standards. Drive the implementation of QA/QC processes through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls. Identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation, including the development and management of action plans.

This role will oversee the Technical Change Management risk & control activities for the Command Center Organization including policy and compliance activities, risk self-identification, risk and control assessment, risk indicators and metrics, and applicable audit and exam activities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction related to our risk portfolio and controls
  • Responding to Regulatory Exams, Internal Audits and other reviews
  • Facilitates applicable escalations to management timely
  • Contributes to a Continual Service Improvement culture using the Agile approach under the direction of leadership
  • Educates stakeholders that are responsible for the adherence to the policies/standards for their organization
  • Follow and enhance existing process and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with policy, standards and process for risk management, identification, response and remediation
  • Ensure controls are effective, escalate control gaps and issues as needed
  • Provide framework for the management and governance of risk and control activities
  • Act as a culture carrier for our Risk Management framework of Identify, Escalate and Debate

Required Skills

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with confidence at all organizational levels
  • Ability to adjust rapidly to changing demands and priorities
  • Working knowledge of compliance and risk framework
  • Superior attention to detail in all work produced
  • Demonstrate analytical and risk management skills - Must be able to think outside the box.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • ITILv3 Foundations Certified

Desired Skills

  • Strong ability to analyze data and identify areas of opportunity for improvement
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in technology risk and controls
  • Prior Audit experience strongly preferred. CISA or other similar industry certification strongly preferred.
  • Education Requirements:  College Degree preferred
