Process Design Manager

Job Description:

A Process Design Manager is accountable for the development, improvement and execution of processes in support of Performance Plan objectives within or across lines of business. Focus is on long-term strategic goals. Ensures full integration of all process and linkage to best practices. Accountable for the achievement of breakthrough productivity, customer satisfaction and continuous process improvements. Works closely with the business executive or deployment champions and MBB. Has actual staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making responsibilities for team. Typically has responsibility for project staff and budget. May be Green Belt or Black Belt certified

E2E client coverage, seeking two (2) process mapping engineers documenting the experience journeys (SB, GTS)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Process engineers ensure all work-streams fit together for the end-to-end process, by LOB
  • Work with LOB partners and work stream leads to engineer and document the end-to-end merchant processes
  • Ensure the end-to-end process will deliver world class merchant services capabilities consistent with the client journeys
  • Prefer somebody with MS experience to provide MS operational view to balance the bank CX views
  • Responsible for the deployment and execution of change management and process improvement capabilities
  • Help organize requirements and design sessions as needed
  • This is an individual contributor role.

Required Skills:

  • 5+years financial services experience
  • 7+ years’ experience documenting process/product flows
  • 5+ years of program management and process design experience
  •  Merchant acquiring/small business acumen with proven ability to leverage expertise with credibility and impact
  • Proven experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders ,with ability to manage multiple priorities and strategies in parallel
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose root cause/skill gaps and develop and execute effective performance action plans to build skill/knowledge
  • Proficiency in day to day risk identification and mitigation, and ability to communicate and reinforce the bank’s risk culture
  • Exceptional proficiency with Sharepoint, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Office suite
  • Highly proficient at using PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience analyzing and solving complex business problems
  • Ability to work in a cross functional environment and lead cross functional teams, collaborate and influence.
  • Self-motivated; ability to work without lots of supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Bank and/or client segment experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • PMP certifications
