Global Equities - Risk Trading Strategy - Vice President / Director

Job Description:

This role supports the Trading Risk team and would be accountable for reporting, analytics and materials associated with the Equities Volcker Trading desks

Strong candidates are able to operate in a fast paced environment with robust analytical capabilities, ability to create bespoke reports and conduct thorough analysis of trader risks/metrics  

Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and effective, concise communication skills

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
  • Strong understanding of Equity derivative products.
  • Experience working within a Financial Services organisation is preferred
  • Python Knowledge / experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS office (especially in Power Point and Excel)
  • Strong empirical skills are required
  • Demonstrate ability to identify issues, evaluate large sets of data and generate ideas of the back off this analysis
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
