Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by connecting our capabilities across the firm.  RPWS is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive set of personal wealth and retirement products and services through Banking, Merrill Edge and Advisory channels.  RPWS provides tools and content that enables financial advisors and bankers to help their client’s live better financial lives.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for day to day oversight of all activities occurring within RPWS Institutional Trust and Custody client account relationships on the Bank of America proprietary trust accounting platform. By way of a thorough understanding of clients’ needs and requirements, ensures client satisfaction through periodic client meetings and discussions covering service levels, plan utilization, product offerings, and fund investment performance. Works with sales, plan administration, and operations staff to enhance and deepen relationships. Expected to participate in presentations to prospective clients; and on-going thought leadership communication. Expected to resolve complex problems; and is therefore assigned relatively larger and more intricate plans/relationships.


  • Must have a minimum of  7-10 years of DB/ITCS related relationship management and plan administration experience
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills; and have an excellent working knowledge of ERISA fiduciary trust responsibilities and trading practices
  • Although not a registered position, a background or experience working in the investment management industry is helpful, as the candidate must be comfortable having frequent, on-going interaction with Private Bank and Merrill Lynch wealth management representatives to discuss strategic investment initiatives for client accounts
  • Bachelors degree preferred
