Description

The head of Global Transaction Services Canada is looking for a Treasury Sales Officer in Montreal covering Large Corporate Banking Clients in the Montreal / Ottawa area reporting directly to the head of GTS Canada.

Responsibilities

The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to the below:

  • Responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of corporate customers for Global Transaction services related products, acting as a trusted advisor to BofA clients
  • Partner closely with client facing team (Canada corporate banking, Global Subsidiary corporate banking, Product sales specialists and International Treasury Sales Officers) driving and growing new relationships.
  • Lead sales effort for various global transaction services solutions and products with existing and prospective clients (payments, receipts, liquidity, trade, card, merchant services etc.)
  • Coordinate internal business partners, support groups and management to deliver integrated global working capital solutions
  • Provide management with market intelligence and feedback for GTS related line of business
  • Be actively engaged in the industry within the Montreal and Ottawa market

Qualifications

  • At least 5-7 years in corporate or commercial banking sector, preferably in treasury sales with exposure to US and international treasury management
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create long term relationship with customers
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting associated deadlines
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.)
  • Good organization skills and ability to prioritize workload from diverse sources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to clearly and convincingly articulate complex ideas and concepts
  • Bilingual in English and French is required
