Requirements

  • Rates and FX structuring for Singapore
  • Need to actively client facing
  • Partner closely with FICC sales and bankers to originate
  • Need to market structured and solutions based on business
  • At trade execution stage, need to play a leading role in liaising with traders as well as support partners
  • Technical skills – strong quantitative skills; able to pick up derivative pricing and pricing models;
  • Inter-personal skills – able to liaise with sales and help sales in client marketing efforts   
  • Independent thinking – able to think through client situations and market dynamics to construct feasible solutions

Qualifications:

  • University educated with economics, math, engineering or business background
  • Experience working in global banks. Previous trading experience preferred but not a must.
  • Good understanding of currency markets. Ability to discuss in detail your knowledge of the current market (including trends)
  • Have the ability to balance analytical and technical skill set with proven instinct
  • Ability to communicate concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity and target messages to different audiences.
