Business Unit overview:

Here in our Dublin Office we are looking for an EMEA Development Lead to lead a niche Global Markets UI Development Team in Dublin. The Global Markets UI is the strategic user interface platform for all Global Markets Applications at Bank of America. The platform is based on HTML/JavaScript/React/OpenFin technologies and is under Global Leadership based in New York.


  • Contribute to core elements of the framework
  • Develop flagship applications on the framework
  • Design and development work
  • Engagement leadership with ancillary EMEA teams
  • Reporting back to Global leadership in New York

Core skills:

  • Experience in leading a technical team
  • Experience with large Global Markets organisational functions at a major bank
  • Deep understanding of modern JavaScript
  • Knowledge React, NPM and/or Yarn, ES6+, Webpack, Babel
  • Understanding of basics of Network programming, including rest API, Websockets
  • General understanding of Git
  • Knowledge of OpenFin/Electron
  • Knowledge of Jenkins or comparable build system
  • Experience with Python (or similar backend language Ruby, Node.js, Perl, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, excellent organization skills, management experience
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and effectively manage work to meet competing deadlines
