The Data Transaction Services team seeks a Service Delivery Consultant to be a proactive and strategic business partner in an IT environment striving to meet current and anticipated business objectives. Associates in the Service Delivery function are responsible for Relationship Management / Account Management of a client / business area in all information technology activities.

Responsible for meeting service deadlines and producing deliverables. Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility. Adjusts work assignments and plans based on shifting resources and priorities. Plays a critical part in the organization of each team across the train, and is the first line of defense with the business and product owner(s) in defending and communicating risks and dependencies.

Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact. Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results. Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives. Participates with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests. Provides the client areas with technology products and service alternatives that improve the IT service delivery process.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the business cases and understanding stakeholder’s expectations and objectives.
  • Translating and simplify the elicited business requirements.
  • Requirements analysis with respect to Feasibility thereby ensuring all internal processes, procedures, and policies are effectively enforced.
  • Communicating key insights and findings to the product team.
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways of Process Improvement, discovering issues and delivering better value to the customer.
  • Develop a deep understanding of domain and application with focus on challenges and opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Leverages experience in all SDLC phases (development, execution, and transition) of product delivery
  • Experience working in cross-functional or cross-organizational teams
  • Understanding of the Enterprise line-of-business services (e.g., Finance, HR, Admin, Information Security)
  • Project Management skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills and experience working with Senior management
  • Experience building strong partnerships and providing matrix management
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail; exercise strong quality control over own work
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and handle competing priorities
  • Demonstrates a sense of commitment to work and willingly assumes responsibility for accomplishing objectives; is dependable, and conscientiously follows through on commitments
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion, and balance risk and reward with a strong focus on compliance

  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes / actions and own process documentation
