Position Description

Bank of America’s Australia equities team is currently sourcing for a strong Equity Sales Assistant. The successful applicant will be supporting senior team members.  This role is ideal for someone who is looking to transition from a buy side or junior equity analyst position and is eager to move onto an Australian Equities desk which has all the support from one of the world’s largest investment banks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the sales desk in day to day operations – production of morning and evening dailies
  • Client marketing and corporate access activities
  • Interact with investment banking  and Research teams
  • Assist with the maintenance of client data and distribution lists
  • Assist  brokers in processing market transactions
  • Liaise with global research teams and sales desk
  • Assist with client requests

Experience:

  • High ATAR , Bachelor’s Degree and ideally to have commenced/completed their CFA
  • Two – three years’ experience working in a global investment banking environment
  • Strong communicator, ability to multi task, highly organized.
  • An inherent curiosity with financial markets & desire to learn
