Job Description:

PTB/O/S Team Remit:
The BISO Operations PTB/O/S team leader will manage the GIS BISO Operations PTB/O/S team and will ensure that the team responds effectively to incoming requests for Permits to Build, Operate and Send across all lines of business.  The leader will be responsible for the team delivering consistent and accurate policy-based decisions relating to both planned and existing projects within the Bank, and will drive a responsible risk-based approach to all project decisions.  In addition the team lead will take on a number of additional global initiatives throughout the year on behalf of the BISO Operations group, and will liaise closely with peers in EMEA and APAC.  In addition, the PTB/O/S Team Lead forms part of the leadership team for BISO Ops and reports directly to the BISO Ops Tech Exec.

The PTB/O/S team:
• Performs information security reviews of Permit To Build, Permit To Operate And Permit To Send requests on behalf of the GIS BISO organization, as part of the overall enterprise Permit To Build, Permit To Operate And Permit To Send processes
• Reviews and assesses adherence to information security policy and standards at key points of the project lifecycle
• Communicates with requesters to gather information and evidence as part of the reviews, and articulates concerns should issues be uncovered during those reviews
• Engages the assistance of other information security and technology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when necessary to ensure accurate assessment of risk and appropriate articulation of remediation/mitigation strategies

Team Lead - Required Skills:
• 6+ years of experience in cyber security or a technology-related field
• Team leading experience and experience managing day to day operation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated capability in presenting technical data effectively to varied audiences
• Exposure to transformational projects, which include process optimization and automation
• Exposure to multiple security engineering disciplines, such as application security, cryptography, network security, system security, and security policies
• Strong technical capabilities with demonstrated focus in at least one of the above disciplines
• Ability to promote secure design principles and a security-focused outlook across the Enterprise
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
• Ability to take ownership of an initiative/issue and take it to completion
• High energy, focus on delivering results, and self-motivated

Team Lead – Additional Skills Which Are Of Value:
• 8+ years of experience in cyber security or a technology-related field
• Experience in vulnerability assessment, security incident response, application security
• Experience  managing transformational projects, including process optimization and automation
