Here in our Dublin office we are looking for a dedicated, VP-level professional to join our team as a Compliance and Operational Risk Analyst. You will assist the Registrations and Licensing team, in activities that contribute to the independent compliance oversight of Front Line Unit (“FLU”) and Control Function (“CF”) performance and any related third party/vendor relationships in alignment with the Compliance Risk Management (“CRM”) Program and the Global Compliance Enterprise Policy (“GC Policy”) specific to Registrations and Licensing.

As an individual contributor you will be promoting a culture of compliance and handling the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance risks. Principle responsibilities for this role will include the management of high risk processes for the UK, Irish and French Fitness and Probity Regimes, working closely with FCA/PRA, CBI and ACPR/AMF to ensure any changes to Regulatory obligations with regard to individual registrations are escalated.

Identification of, and participation in, process improvement and regulatory change routines is a key aspect of the position, as is the management and escalation of monitoring and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of compliance and the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance risks
  • Assisting CF Compliance teams in the provision of High Risk processes of New Hire Registrations, Terminations, Maintenance and Disclosure and provision of Management Information
  • Interpretation, understanding and implementation of regulatory driven processes
  • Assisting with Exchange registrations, terminations and ongoing maintenance

Core Skills:

  • Experience/knowledge of the Senior Manager & Certification Regime/Approved Persons regime
  • Can handle difficult conversations with internal clients, business partners, and regulators
  • Ability to multitask; completing a high volume of transactions within specific deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills - analyse documents for accuracy and risk; mitigate and/or call out where appropriate
  • Independent - can accurately perform functions with little direction
  • Keen problem solver who can handle multiple projects
  • Follow-up initiative to resolve items
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate and work with all levels within the organisation and with external regulators
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Possess a positive, cooperative and professional attitude
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Computing skills for windows applications
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential material
  • University Degree or equivalent experience
