Job Description:

Key Responsibilities -

  • Supporting the Tax EPO Engagement Managers (EMs) in performing tax compliance assessments within their regions e.g. working with assessment owners to the completing of the questionnaire, reviewing any evidence submitted, daily coordination with assessment owner on outstanding items, identifying gaps and gaining agreement 
  • Supporting Tax EPO EMs in managing the international regulatory changes in the workflow tool e.g. monitoring tax alert mailbox, leading meeting with impacted business units to discuss impacts, coordination with business units in implementing the required changes and develop reporting of the regulatory changes for various routines 
  • Supporting EMs in the rollout of metrics across the business unite e.g. working with process owners in introducing the new Tax EPO metrics and leading cadences to collect data against the new metrics for reporting purposes -
  • Working with tax technical partners to resolve issues and gain insight into tax matters within the region
  • Maintenance of the master tax inventory and streamlining it for ease of use
  • Coordination with key stakeholders like Corporate Tax, GBAM TCD and other country specific stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive work stream documentation to socialize in monthly routines 
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document any project needs 
  • Provide support with various internal initiatives and special tax projects
  • Working closely with COE partners to ensure all standards are being met and adhered to 
  • Working with technology partners in managing various Tax EPO tools and looking for improvement opportunities
  • Coordinating and working with Third Party consultants on certain project deliverables 
  • Managing issues and escalating to Tax EPO leadership as needed

Required:

  • 5-10 years in a process support role either in Compliance Risk or Tax 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
