Job Description:

L2 Production support for Electronic Trading horizontal specifically in the Client Onboarding function.

The candidate will be working with electronic client onboarding team to integrate Bank of America’s equity trading partners for electronic trading. Knowledge of FIX protocol, xml, UNIX, scripting, networking and SQL are required. Responsibilities include certifying FIX connections with trading partners, vendors, integrate them with Bank of America’s equity trading platforms and providing assistance to the production support team. This role involve interacting with external and internal clients, candidate should have good interpersonal skills.

Required Skills:

Experience of Financial Domain & Electronic Trading
• Hands on experience in UNIX/LINUX and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol or similar communication systems
• Working experience of Trade Support
• Experience in Job scheduling tools like Autosys
• Experience in Monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos.
• Aware of ITIL concepts like Incident and Problem Management.

Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of a technical environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives. Participates with Technology management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests.
