The FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support and Supply Chain Management.
Over the years, the scope of FAKC has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
Consumer Cards CFO reporting process involves management reporting, research and analysis across various stages of card lifecycle (marketing – acquisition & engagement, retention, credit & risk etc.). Team works on various reporting needs that helps the CFO group analyze and address key challenges to the profitability and adjust their forecasts accordingly. The analytics team provides deep dive analysis by deploying analytics and data mining tools like SAS & SQL for credit card P&L. For management reporting, team primarily uses SAP Platform for providing BAU and adhoc reports.
Individual will be a contributing member of the FAKC Consumer CFO Reporting team. He/ she will support the US Cards Finance team. The person is expected to deliver on complex and time critical data analytics request for new credit card / existing credit card portfolio. It is also expected that the person comprehend & evaluate the strategic business drivers and can bring in efficiencies through automation of existing reporting packages or codes.
Understand clients’ requirements and translate those into deliverables. Co-ordinate with the business to resolve process bottlenecks at different levels. Support the business on periodic and adhoc projects related to credit card and deposits products. Drilldown, organize, summarize large amounts of data from/to multiple databases. Ability to independently communicate with onshore partners in terms of understanding requests, developing codes and delivering output in a timely and accurate manner. Make & deliver presentations on the detailed analysis and key observations to senior leaders. Ensure quick resolution of any issues. Performing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Management Reporting. Complete Finance Packs and also walk through Business/Onshore partners on the same. Reviewing monthly results and performance analysis. Actively participating in financial process improvement across the organization.
Work Timings: 11:30 – 22:30 IST (9 hours shift as per requirement). Will require to stretch 3-5 days in a month or to meet critical project deadline.
