Job Description:

The Bank of America OneTouch team is the firm’s Equity Platform Distribution business for small & medium-sized institutional clients and prospects. Seeking candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, hunger for new revenue opportunities and capable of delivering scalable coverage to a long tail of clients efficiently. This candidate will have the intellectual curiosity to build a cross-asset skill set and be product agnostic. 

Wherever possible, OneTouch will encourage/push clients into Electronic Channels; that said, we anticipate a large amount of phone and chat initiated trade requests.  The team will support products across all Equity Products: Cash, Algorithmic Trading, Derivatives, and Financing.  This desk will also be a Joint-Venture with FICC. Over time, each OneTouch salesperson is expected to cover all products; with that, it is crucial that team members have a mix of product expertise to ensure we can cover all products while the team builds its Multi-Product DNA. The desk serves as a Single Point of contact for our Institutional Clients across both Advisory & Execution Services. In this capacity, the team speaks to the firm’s clients across all touch-points, including:

  • CIOs, Portfolio Managers, & Founders of Firms
  • Heads of Trading
  • Investment Teams, Analysts
  • COOs & CFOs

    Role Description:

  • Collate, filter, manage and disseminate market news and BAML research views to a range of global customers and execute subsequent business.
  • Responsible for managing and communicating the needs of a large and diverse client base across various BAML touch points, including equity derivatives, financing, advisory etc.
  • Having a sound knowledge of both your own client base but also the wider client base of the desk, and being able to respond to different needs as client types vary e.g. Institution to Hedge Fund.
  • Responsible for interaction on a daily basis with all parts of the equity floor including derivatives, financing, sales, electronic, market structure and more in an effort to cross sell BAML products and ensure all relevant touch points between the client and BAML are covered.

    Qualifications:

    Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)

    Skills:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving  skills are required
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
  • Solid broking skills
  • High level knowledge of Bloomberg and Excel
