Job Description:

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:

Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. • Analyze, design, develop, enhance and support applications that integrate with existing business components utilizing established processes, frameworks, and technologies.
• Expertise on multiple technology skills with different technology stack, and ability to design, develop and lead onsite/offshore application team members using Agile process.
• Develop and support existing and new project requirements, including coordinating with business to understand requirements, and analyzing potential impact of implementing change requests.
• Perform tasks to comprehensively analyze application and process issues, including problem identification, communication and coordination with customer-facing support teams.
• Regularly communicate work progress with management, identifying issues early and resolving them quickly to avoid or minimize impact to projects.
• Excellent programming, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn business processes, and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level applications and processes.
• Experience providing on-call support for critical systems and applications.

Required skills:

• 7 years of development experience using Java technologies in large data platform
• SAS: Base SAS, Advanced SAS, SAS Macros, SAS Procedures, PC SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide Tools, and SAS PROC SQL
• Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate in a matrix environment
• Strong knowledge of data mining, Analytics & reporting applications
• Ability to guide multiple technology onsite/offshore team members

Desired Job skill:

  • Prior working experience in Anti-Money Laundering domain
  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
