The PTS Case Manager is a position within the GBAM DQCE Permit-to-Send team. This team oversees the approval process for the ‘outgoing’ data requests for the Font Line Units in GTO who want to utilize a vendor to outsource banking service(s). This is a FAST PACE environment and the position requires a lot of multi-tasking without losing effectiveness in day-to-day processing of cases.

Position Summary:

In this position, the PTS Case Manager will deal with many areas of the bank, such as, but not limited to the Front Line Units, Global Information Security, Application Managers, Data Transmission Services, Privacy, Permissible Use, Global Cloud Governance, and more.  This role will also:

  • Perform QA activity all cases
  • Partner with teams across GBAM and supporting external teams to complete PTS cases
  • Manages assigned portfolio of PTS cases (average of 90 cases)
  • Drives portfolio forecasting and prioritization processes
  • Monitor case expiration dates to ensure the initiation of renew/retire processes
  • Determines and delivers communication/training strategies partners
  • On-boards and trains new Case Managers

Daily responsibilities to include: 

  • Work an average of 90 cases in an active and demanding pipeline
  • Respond to phone, email, instant communicator during the workday in a timely manner
  • Able to train users on the PTS process and system(s)
  • Able to work with very little supervision
  • Able to follow detailed process and procedures
  • Work with Front Line Units that are new to the process and be able to assist as needed
  • Be able to work as needed/overtime with very little notice
  • Able to research issues in a complex bank technical environment
  • Must have production experience and stay within a SLA
  • Have general knowledge of Information Security/GIS Standards & Processes

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Analytical ability on both process and data
  • Communicate in an enterprise-wide capacity to educate, problem-solve, and influence adherence to enterprise policies
  • Improve process to continually advance the value of the governance program
  • Have general knowledge of Information Security Process & Procedures as well as related technology controls
  • Be very familiar with MS Products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Have previous production environment experience
  • Organization Skills a MUST
  • Critical thinker and process oriented

Desired Skills:

  • Previous GIS experience
  • General knowledge of bank / technical process
  • Knowledge of Vendor Management Process such as vendor due diligence, vendor security assessment and vendor contact process
