Job Description:

The Commercial Real Estate Banking (CREB) segment of the Commercial Bank provides customized and comprehensive solutions to create value and help meet identified strategic priorities and evolving needs for our real estate clients and prospects, which include best in class REITS, funds, and national/regional developers. CREB is seeking a Relationship Manager who will learn the trade and skills necessary to lead client teams that develop and advance client Relationships. Connect client priorities to solutions across the bank and delight our clients. Responsible for a variety of relationships, business development and transactional activities for our Commercial Real Estate group. May lead client service team for less critical or complex relationships and typically provides support to a more senior relationship manager. The RM is accountable for developing a role into the primary bank advocate and key financial advisor for the relationship in the context of prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships. The RM will be capable of assessing the risks and impacts from both the clients' and the bank's perspective for development and implementation of an overall client strategy. The RM is responsible for leading, directing and coordinating key team members in analysis and execution in the effective delivery of their products and services to clients and prospects. Proven track record of prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships preferred. Proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution and follow up of client meetings preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Real Estate
  • Minimum of three years of previous experience, commercial lending or real estate preferred
  • Completion of commercial credit training program
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Must exhibit excellent communication skills and executive presence
  • Demonstrates initiative/self-motivation
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking
  • Possesses strong analytical and modeling skills to assist leadership with managing the business
  • Professional sales skills and experience
  • Ability to execute and follow up of client meetings
  • Demonstrates the ability to independently make decisions
  • Works well in team assignments and seeks to be collaborative and inclusive
  • Will support client relationship management team
  • Licensing will be required

Desired Skills:

  • Successful track record of prospecting new business and developing client relationships
  • Sales experience
